A recent marketing survey from customerminds.com has revealed that 82% of companies don’t include their registered company number, 79% are not including a telephone number and finally 62% are not including a postal address.
These are breaches of the ODCE regulations which were introduced in April 2007, and which are discussed in detail on our site here.
Failure to comply with these regulations can be met with a fine of up to €2000, and failure to pay this could result in up to 12 months imprisonment. Ensure that all corrospondance such as email and marketing material is meeting the guidelines.
