Outlook 2003 Mail Setup

This support section shows you how to set up and receive your email using Microsoft Outlook 2003.

In Microsoft Outlook 2003, select Tools from the menu bar, and then E-mail Accounts.



In the popup window, select "Add a new e-mail account" and click Next.



When asked for your server type, select "POP3" and click Next.



In the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3) window, enter your personal information including:

Your Name
Enter your first and last name.
E-mail Address
Enter your e-mail address.
User Name
Enter your eTailor username, according to the setup data provided to you.
Password
Enter the password you set up for your e-mail account.
Incoming mail server (POP3)
Your incoming server is mail.sample.com, where "sample.com" is the name of your domain.
Outgoing mail server (SMTP)

NOTE: Your SMTP Server name is dependent on and provided by your Internet Connection Provider. Please contact your Internet Connection Provider's technical support department or support section of their website to find out the address of your SMTP server. You can view our current list of SMTP servers for common providers by clicking here.

If you subscribe to our Magnet Business DSL package, your SMTP server will be: mail.netsource.ie

  • Eircom subscription: mail1.eircom.net
  • NTL: smtp.ntlworld.ie
  • Esatclear: mail.esatclear.ie
  • IOL Free: mail.iolfree.ie
  • IOL Subscription: mail.iol.ie



Click Next.



Click Finish.



You are now ready to receive your email.
