Blackberry Setup
Setting up your Blackberry device to receive email services supplied by eTailor.
NOTE: Blackberry setups vary from provider to provider. The steps below describe the process for "o2" users with an @o2mail.ie email address. You will probably want to set up your eTailor email address details on the device also, so you can send and receive emails while on the move.
There are two ways to configure your Blackberry device:
1. When purchasing your Blackberry device, you should supply the Sales Assistant in the o2 outlet with a printout of your eTailor Account Details page, which you will have received when your eTailor account was initialized (if you do not have this sheet to hand, please contact us and we will re-issue to you via email or phone). This printout contains the three pieces of information the o2 Sales Assistant should require:
a) your email address
b) your pop3 (incoming) mail server (i.e. mail.yourdomain.com). Please note that the o2mail service defaults the mail address as pop.domain.tld as opposed to mail.domain.tld. This can be updated from the email account page in o2mail, by following the 'advanced settings' link and ensuring the correct incoming server name is present.
c) your username and password
The o2 Sales Assistant should then be able to configure the device for you, and enter the correct o2-provided SMTP (outgoing) mail server for you.
2. If you have already purchased your Blackberry device and left the o2 outlet without having your eTailor email service configured, you can add your eTailor email address yourself via o2's Blackberry portal at http://www.o2mail.ie. Follow the instructions, and when prompted, add the three pieces of eTailor details listed above (a,b,c).
Please bear in mind when testing your newly added email address that it may take some time for emails to reach your Blackberry, depending on your Blackberry settings.
